Honestly it feels like none of us as Americans will “win” this election no matter who you vote for.
It almost feels like the lesser of two evils.
Like with Trump, you know what you’re getting, you know his policies and you know what he stands for. Pretty much wears it on his sleeve
Do I agree with some of the republican values? Yes
Are there some I don’t agree with? Absolutely
I can say the same about the Democratic Party
The issue I have with them though is the left can feel so…sneaky
Like they’re propping up Biden to look like our calm cheerful Uncle Joe but in the background there’s signs of possible onset dementia and the whole cover up of his son Hunter’s allegations (Which liberals are ignoring)
And if I’m being completely honest the media is throwing Biden softballs while really grilling Trump on the more important issues.
My point is neither candidate is great and it’s inspiring me to dig a little deeper and continue to educate myself in American Politics.
We can’t trust the media to spoon-fed us the truth. It’s filled with Bias and if we aren’t careful we’ll continue to look for information that confirms what we believe vs seeking out information that challenges our beliefs and make us ask tougher questions
As millennials it’s time to really prop up better leaders, these old farts don’t care about us young people. They just want to keep their status quo and keep us where we are. Let’s all do better.
